Record Interest Income in QuickBooks Online

While it may not be much, you are probably earning some interest from your bank. You need to track this income. These instructions will help you do this within QuickBooks Online.

Recording Interest Income

  1. Click the quick-create / plus symbol in the upper right corner.
  2. Click on bank deposit under the column other.
  3. Identify the account the deposit is going into, select the date, enter the appropriate income account into the space under account.
