How to Find Open Transactions in Undeposited Funds in QuickBooks Online

You might think the best way to find open transactions in Undeposited Funds is to click on the total in the Balance Sheet.

This shows you a transaction list but NOT the transactions that are waiting to be deposited into the bank.

Quick Instructions:

  1. Click +New in the upper left corner
  2. In the OTHER column click Bank deposit
  3. The transactions on the Bank Deposit screen are your Undeposited Funds

To find your open transactions waiting to be deposited click the +New button in the upper right corner.

Then click Bank deposit under OTHER.

The Bank Deposit screen shows you a list of all the transactions that are waiting in Undeposited Funds to be added to a bank deposit.
