Rachel Barnett’s journey with QuickBooks began in 1995, marking nearly three decades of experience with the software.
In 2023, she achieved her QBO Advanced ProAdvisor certification, solidifying her expertise in the field.
Rachel’s passion for bookkeeping led her to own and operate Primarily Bookkeeping, d/b/a Your Bookkeeping Fairy Godmother, a Seattle-area firm, for six years before selling it in 2018.

After selling Primarily Bookkeeping, Rachel founded Gentle Frog to fulfill her passion for supporting other professionals.
Gentle Frog provides behind-the-scenes support for businesses with in-house bookkeepers or owners who prefer the DIY approach to bookkeeping.
Rachel’s mission is to empower business owners and bookkeepers with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.
A Dedicated Educator
Rachel’s dedication to teaching QuickBooks is evident in her extensive body of work. She offers one-on-one training and has created over 350 video tutorials on her YouTube channel, covering QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and various bookkeeping and business-related topics.
Her blog, with over 275 posts, provides text-based tutorials complete with screenshots, making it an invaluable resource for learners.
In addition to her free resources, Rachel offers comprehensive courses on popular learning platforms like GoSkills and Simon Sez It. She also sells a collection of QuickBooks courses on GentleFrog.com, catering to both beginners and advanced users.
